Encroachment of public parking space

February 5, 2020

Sir,

This has been the daily woes of shopkeepers and public who come to the Merchants Bank in Santhepet on Jaganmohan Palace Main Road.

Most of the private vehicles are parked there for the entire day causing inconvenience to the general public who come to buy groceries or for shopping or banking purpose.

I request the authorities concerned to take measures so that public space is not encroached.

If you go around the city, you will notice that the operators and owners of these Rental Bikes are doing their business on public property or in front of the shopping centres or along the side of footpaths. Is the mcc aware of this?
