Mysuru:  Depressed over his current state of unemployment, a 35-year-old engineer committed suicide by hanging self at his residence in Dattagalli late last night.

Naveen (35), son of Rachappa, a resident of Dattagalli, is the one who ended his life.

Naveen, a BE Graduate, who had served in Bengaluru earlier, was said to be currently jobless.

Naveen hanged himself from the ceiling in a room when no body was in the house.

The incident came to light this morning, as Naveen did not come out of the house even after a long time, it is learnt.

Kuvempunagar Police who visited the spot, conducted mahazar and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary, besides registering a case.
