Mysuru:  Applications have been invited for annual ‘Sri Shivarathreeshwara Book Award’ given by JSS Mahavidyapeetha’s Sri Shivarathreeshwara Religious Endowment since 1983.  

The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 and a  citation.

Books on Veerashaiva or Lingayat religion, literature, history, art and culture, published during 2017 are eligible for the award. Authors or publishers, may send two copies of the book to The Director, Publishing Division, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Circle, Mysuru-570004, before Mar.31.

Even literary enthusiasts or scholars, who have information about books published during the said period, may also send entries with details of the book, complete address and phone number.
