Entries invited for Bravery Awards

Mysuru: The Government of Karnataka has invited applications from children in the age group of 6-18 years, who have saved others lives by risking their own, for Hoysala and Keladi Chennamma Bravery Awards. The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and a citation.

The incident must have occurred between August 2016 and July 2017 and be recognised in the district level. It should also be recorded in the FIR filed by the jurisdictional Police.

Prescribed application form is available at the Office of the Deputy Director, Women and Child Development Department, Sthree Shakthi Bhavan, 1st Floor, Krishnadevaraya Circle, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, Mysuru-17.

Last date to submit the filled in application form, along with two attested passport size photographs and the photocopy of the newspaper in which the incident has been reported, is Sept. 15.
