Mysore/Mysuru: The Anathalaya-Sahitya Sangha has organised various inter-college competitions for students studying in Degree, Post Graduation and PU on Dec. 18 and Dec. 25 at different venues.

The Sangha has organised 27th Kannada debate contest in memory of Lokasevanirata V. Narayanarao on Dec. 25 at Annapoorna Nilaya, Anathalaya premises in city at 9 am. The topic for the debate is ‘Britisharu Bharatakke Needida Shikshana Neeti Bharatada Abhivrudige Marakavagideye?’ Two students must make a team and speak for and against the topic.

The 18th Kannada essay writing competition will be held at Sadvidya Educational Institution on Rama Vilas Road here on Dec. 18 at 9 am. The topic is ‘Prapanchada Adhunika mathu Adhaytmika Eligeyalli Vishwaguru Aagaliruva Bharatada Patra.’

Classical instrument playing contest will also be held at the same venue on Dec. 18 at 10.30 am. Winners of the contest will be given Rs. 8,000 (first), Rs. 5,000 (second) and Rs. 3,000 (third) respectively.
