Entries invited for Kittur Rani Chennamma Award

The Women and Child Development Department has invited entries from women individuals and voluntary organisations working for the cause of women, for presenting Kittur Rani Chennamma Award (2023-24).

Women who have excelled in the fields of Sports, Arts, Literature and Education and who have successfully emerged victorious in adversary conditions or circumstances and eligible voluntary organisations who have dedicated themselves for the cause of women, can send  their entries for the award. The entries, along with all supporting documents, must be submitted to the Women and Child Development  Department, Sthree Shakthi Bhavan, Krishnadevaraya (KD) Circle, Vijayanagar Second Stage, Mysuru before Jan. 8. The selected personalities /organisations will be conferred the award during the International Women’s Day celebrations on Mar.8, according to a press release.
