Entries invited for Kittur Rani Chennamma Award

The Women and Child Development Department has invited applications from individual women and organisations who have achieved extraordinarily in the field of women development, education, sports, art, literature and for act of bravery for Kittur Rani Chennamma Award for 2024-25.

Women who have exhibited outstanding courage in rescuing lives by risking their own lives with time sense/consciousness are eligible to apply for the award.

Applicants should have served for a minimum period of five years in the NGOs and above mentioned fields. Those drawing salaries are not eligible for the award.

Kittur Rani Chennamma Award will be presented on Mar. 8 during the annual International Women’s Day celebrations.

Last date to submit applications along with necessary documents is Feb. 2 to The Office of the Deputy Director, Department of Women and Child Development, Sthree Shakti Bhavan, K.D. Circle, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, Mysuru.
