Entries invited for Maharshi Valmiki Award

With the State Government scheduled to celebrate Sri Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti on Oct. 7, the District Administration has invited entries from achievers belonging to ST (Scheduled Tribe) community who have strived for the development /upliftment/ welfare of ST communities, for conferment of State-level Sri Maharshi Valmiki Award.

Individuals belonging to ST communities, who have excelled  in academic, social, literary and other such fields at the District-level, can obtain the prescribed entry forms from the office of  SC/ST Welfare Officer in the respective taluk or from the office of the ITDP (Integrated Tribal Development Project)) Officer, Mysuru. The filled-in forms, along with all supporting documents, must be submitted before Sept. 9.
