The Women and Child Development Department, Government of Karnataka, has invited entries from eligible children for Hoysala and Keladi Chennamma State Awards. Boys aged between 5 and 18 years, who have excelled in Innovation and Scholastic fields can apply for Hoysala award, while girls aged between 6 and 18 years can apply for Keladi Chennamma award.  Both the awards carry a cash prize of Rs. 10,000  each and a citation.

Those interested can obtain the prescribed application forms from the Department Office located at Sthree Shakthi Bhavan, Krishnadevaraya Circle, Vijayanagar Second Stage, in city and the same must be filled in Kannada and returned, along with all supporting records, before Oct. 3.  For more details, contact Ph: 0821-2495432, according to a press release from the Department Dy.
