Entries invited from sericulturists for ‘ReshmeKrishi’ Award

The Department of Sericulture has invited applications for ‘ReshmeKrishi’ Award for the year 2020-21 from the district sericulturists. The applicants must have a minimum one-acre mulberry farm, a separate place to grow the worms. The yield must be 65-kg from 100 cocoons and the silk nest production per acre must not be less than 500-kg. Eligible farmers must collect the application forms from the respective Taluk Sericulture Assistant Director or Sericulture Extension Office and submit the filled-in forms, along with relevant documents, to respective Sericulture Assistant Director’s Office before Sept. 30.For details, contact Sericulture Assistant Director, according to a press release from the Zilla Panchayat Sericulture Deputy Director.
