Entries invited from students for poster-making contest

The Regional Museum of Natural History (RMNH), Mysuru, under Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, has organised a poster-making competition on the theme “Planet Vs Plastics” in celebration of Earth Day-2024, for school children aged between 12 years and 16 years.

The deadline for submission of entries is May 10.  This competition aims to highlight the significance of Earth Day, raise awareness about plastic pollution and advocate for the conservation of Planet Earth and its natural resources, while sensitising students and promoting conservation activities among them. Each student is allowed one entry only and posters must be created on drawing sheets sized 22×15 inches. Interested students may send their entries to  Sci-D & H.O., Regional Museum of Natural History, Siddarthanagar, Mysuru-570011, either through post or by hand. Prizes will be awarded during the Museum Foundation Day on May 20.
