Surabhi Gaanakala Mandira is hosting a State-level Classical Music competition on Mar. 26 at Alwar Kala Bhavan in Gokulam.

Contests will be held in Junior (12 -18 years) and Senior (19-25 years) categories.  There will be prizes of  Rs.3,000, Rs.2,000 and Rs.1,000 for Junior category and Rs.5,000, Rs.3,000, Rs.2000 and the title ‘Naada Surabhi’ for Senior category.  Those who are participating in the Senior category, have to send a self-sung CD comprising a Kruti, Raaga, Neraval and Kalpanasvara, not exceeding 30 minutes, before Mar. 10. The last date for registration for Junior category has been extended upto Mar. 15.
