Mysuru:  The entry to the Mysore Palace like every year is restricted during Navarathri due to the rituals being conducted by the members of the erstwhile royal family.

On Sept.24 from 10 am to 1 pm, the entry to Palace is banned; on Sept. 29 from 10 am to 2.30 pm and on Oct.7 from 10 am to 2.30 pm, the Mysore Palace both inside and outside is banned for public entry.

But on all days after the restriction ends, the public are allowed to enter the Palace.

However, on Oct.8,  the Palace is closed for the whole day to the public and only pass and ticket (Dasara ticket) holders are allowed entry to the Palace to watch Dasara procession.

On Oct.23, the entry is again restricted to visitors from 10 am to 1 pm due to dismantling of the Golden Throne and after 1 pm, the entry is allowed, said Mysore Palace Board Deputy Director T.S. Subramanya in a press release.
