As part of its endowment programme, Akhila Bharata Sharana Sahitya Parishat, Mysuru City Unit, has organised a district-level essay competition on ‘Vachana Sahityadalli Arthika Chintanegalu’ at JSS Arts, Commerce and Science College, Ooty Road, on Feb. 21 from 2 pm to 3 pm. Students of degree colleges coming under Mysuru district may take part in the contest. From one college, maximum of four students can take part. Winners will be awarded cash prizes at the stage programme to be held after the competition the same day. First prize – Rs. 1,500, second prize – Rs. 1,250 and third prize – Rs. 1,000.
