Hemantha Kumar presides, MLA G.T. Devegowda inaugurates cultural programme, MP Pratap Simha, MLAs G.T. Devegowda, S.A. Ramdas, L. Nagendra and Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah will be present, historian Dr. N.S. Rangaraju delivers a special lecture on ‘Contribution of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar,’ 10.30 am; First session – Retired Professor Dr. C. Naganna and Prasaranga Director Prof. Nilagiri M. Talawar will deliver lectures, 2 pm; Second session – GSS Founder Srihari and Maharani’s PU College lecturer Dr. C. Tejowati will deliver lectures, 3 pm; Kavigoshti, Kuvempu Institute of Kannada Studies (KIKS) Assistant Professor N.K. Lolakshi presides, 4 pm; Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar will felicitate achievers from various fields including photo-journalist from Star of Mysore M.N. Lakshminarayana Yadav, senior journalist M.T. Yogesh Kumar and wildlife photographer S.R. Madhusudan, MLC A.H. Vishwanath presides, 5 pm; Valedictory – Sammelana Presdent Aryambha Pattabhi delivers talk, District Kannada Sahitya Parishat Mysuru President Dr. Y.D. Rajanna presides, Police Training School Principal Dr. Dharanidevi Malagatti delivers valedictory speech, noted singer of Ede Thumbi Haadidenu-fame Ruthvik C. Raj and team will present musical event ‘Gaana – Savigaana,’ Vijnana Bhavana, Manasagangothri, 6 pm.
