Kadamba State-level Solo Women’s Theatre Festival, inauguration by senior theatre person Sundarashree, grand-daughter of Gubbi Veeranna and daughter of G.V. Shivanand, senior actress Rameshwari Verma and Rangayana Deputy Director Nirmala Mathapati guests of honour, Kadamba Ranga Vedike President Rajashekhar Kadamba presides, 6.30 pm; Sanehalli Gramaranga Samskruthika Trust will be staging the play titled ‘Vasundhare’ (Unveiling of Earth’s Intermediate space) casting Manjula Badami, (composed by H.S. Dyamesh and directed by Y.D. Badami), Mini Theatre (Kirurangamandira), Kalamandira premises, Hunsur Road, 7 pm.
