153rd Gandhi Jayanti – Non-Violence Day and releasing of 7 books on Gandhiji brought-out by Gandhi Bhavan, Gandhi Bhajans by students of Mysore University Fine Arts College, 9.30 am; Senior Gandhian B.K. Seetaramaiah inaugurates, Mysore University VC Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar releases books and presides over the event, Gandhian K.T. Veerappa chief guests, Mysore University Registrar Prof. R. Shivappa special invitee, retd. Director of State Resource Centre Dr. S. Tukaram and Asst. Professor of Government FGC-K.R. Pet will speak about the books, Gandhi Bhavan, Manasagangothri, 10 am.
