Ex-Corporator Mahadesh’s bail plea rejected

Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court yesterday rejected the bail pleas of former Corporator C. Mahadesh alias Avva Madesha and his brother C. Manjunath alias Manju, who are serving jail term after being convicted in the 2008 Hunsur double murder case.

The accused had filed bail pleas on health ground.

High Court Division Bench, comprising Justices Ravi Malimath and John Michael Cunha, who heard the bail pleas of the two, rejected the pleas stating that there was proper medical facility in the jail and if necessary, the jail officials will take them to other hospitals for medical care.
