Ex-Falcon employee’s son ends life

Mysuru: Even as Falcon Tyres employees Union presented a memorandum to Higher Education Minister G.T. Devegowda at the thanks giving programme organised by the Minister at Lingadevarakoppalu for voters of Chamundeshwari Assembly segment yesterday seeking re-start of the shutdown factory, the son of a former Falcon Tyres Employee ended his life by hanging self at his residence in B.M. Sri Nagar here this morning.

Prasad (22), son of Mahadevappa, a former employee of the shutdown Falcon Tyres factory,is the deceased. Prasad, who was said to be working at a factory, had not gone to work for the past three days.

He is said to have hanged himself when nobody else was in the house this morning, after leaving behind a death note and sending messages to his friends, it is learnt.

The jurisdictional Metagalli Police have registered a case in this regard.
