Ex-MLA helps shift critically ill woman to hospital

Mysore/Mysuru: Former MLA M.K. Somashekar has extended his helping hands in shifting a critically ill woman to K.R. Hospital on Sunday night.

On Sunday at about 8.30 pm, the former MLA was proceeding on Chamaraja Double Road, when he noticed a woman lying on the side of the road.

When he got down from his vehicle and went near the woman, he found that she was suffering from illness. He immediately summoned an ambulance and with the help of the public, shifted the critically ill woman to K.R. Hospital and got her admitted. 

He then called the Medical Officer of the Hospital and urged him to provide necessary treatment besides assuring of bearing the medicine cost. 

Railway employee Bhyrappa and NIE College lecturer Vinod were present.
