Pandavapura: Pandavapura Police have arrested a person on charges of creating ruckus and assaulting Police Constables at a Police Station, here yesterday.

The accused has been identified as Sagar, son of former Pandavapura TMC President Jagadish. Sagar allegedly assaulted Constable Abhishek Gowda, Head Constable Anand  and Woman Constable Lakshmi at the Police Station, following which he was immediately arrested.

Following a complaint from Constable Abhishek Gowda, Sub-Inspector Mahadeva, who registered a case, produced accused Sagar before a Court, which remanded him to judicial custody.

Details: Yesterday at about 9 am, Sagar, who barged into the land of one K. Lakshminarayana, reportedly abused Ramanna, Mahadeva and Lakshminarayana using foul language, threatened them with life besides assaulting them following which Lakshminarayana lodged a complaint at Pandavapura Town Police Station.

Following instruction from Sub-Inspector Mahadeva, Constable Abhishek Gowda called Sagar over the phone, informed him about the complaint and asked him to meet the Sub-Inspector.

When Sagar came to the Police Station at about 11.50 am, he saw complainant Lakshminarayana talking to Station House Officer (SHO) Anand.
