Ex-servicemen say ‘battle ready’

May 10, 2025

The Mysuru-based Kodagu Ex-Servicemen Welfare Association has said that it is battle ready to extend support to Indian soldiers. The members, who met at the Association Office on Friday, observed a one-minute silence as a tribute to tourists killed in Pahalgam on Apr. 22. Strongly condemning the terror attack, the Ex-Servicemen lauded the Centre for carrying out Operation Sindoor to eliminate terrorist camps and bases across the border. The meeting also lauded the Indian army for the huge success of the military operation. The Association, led by President K.K. Aiyappa, Joint Secretary C.K. Basappa and others, resolved to appeal the Centre to allow them to support the soldiers by taking part in the ongoing operation.
