Exam-orientation programme for SSLC students held

A special lecture programme for the benefit of the students appearing for SSLC examinations from Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala and Rotary High School was organised at Vijaya Vittala Composite PU College auditorium recently.

R.A. Chethan Ram, Director of Parivarthana PU College and AMCAD – Mysuru, spoke about motivational needs and pragmatic learning skills.

Speaking on the occasion, he stressed on the need for building positive mental attitude to overcome the fear of facing examination and attain success with confidence. Mere reading without understanding the contents will not help, so it is necessary to understand the contents and learn with keen concentration which can be achieved only by instilling various techniques to practice, with constant reading and writing skills to enhance memory and recall the learnt contents.

In order to develop courage to face the examinations fearlessly, it is very important to practice meditation and stress-free thinking as the examinations are fast approaching, it is also important to have balanced and nutritious home-made food with right eating habits and hygiene. Students should have faith in oneself and courage that will surely lead to success.

He also gave five simple suthras for success in the examination. He stressed the students to take more number of preparatory examination along with self assessment.

PU College Principal H. Satyaprasad and Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala Principal S.P. Asha were present during the occasion.
