M.V. Udhbhav Simha and M.V. Jeevitha Ganga, both students of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala excelled in the recently concluded Mysuru Open Karate Championship organised at the Chamundi Vihar Stadium in city, recently.  Udhbav won the gold medal in the Kata tournament while his elder sister Jeevitha won gold in kata and silver in kumite.

Both are being trained by Karate instructor Shivdas.

They are the children of  Vishwas and Preethi couple residing in Dattagalli.
