Excel in Karate

M.V. Jeevitha Ganga and M.V. Udhbhav Simha, both students of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, excelled in the recently concluded State Level Karate Tournament organised by Okinawa Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do of India International Mabuni-ha shito Ryu Karate Association at University of Mysore Gymnasium Hall, here recently.

While Jeevitha won first prize in Kata for age group between 9-10 years and third prize in kumite for below 35 kg category, her younger brother Udhbhav won first prize in both Kata for 8-10 years boys and Kumite in below 20kg  category.

Meanwhile, V. Yeshwanth Subramanya, also of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala won the third place in both Kata for 8-10 years boys and Kumite held in the below 20 kg category.
