Mysuru: M. Likith (son of C. Mallikarjuna),  captain of Mysuru District Athletes team, has won State-level 5,000 Metres Walk Race held at Sri Mahatma Gandhi Stadium in Tumakuru and has been selected  for Nationals.

S. Deeksha (daughter of D.B. Shankar) won first prize in the District-level Drawing Competition conducted by the Deputy Director, PU Education Board, Mysuru and has been selected for State-level Competition.

Both the students are studying at BGS PU College, Kuvempunagar, Mysuru.
