Excels in Mysuru City Inter-Collegiate tournaments

Mysuru: City’s young tennis player N.S. Ashrith has notched up his 7th district title in his career. Ashrith aged 17 and pursuing his studies at Marimallapa’s PU College has impressed everyone with his excellent performances representing the Mysuru District team in U-18 category at the Mysuru City Inter-collegiate tournaments.

Ashrith, the captain of the team, has been excellent with his forehand and backhand and has enabled him to become the top player in the tournament. Till date, he has won seven gold medals in his tennis career. He won the bronze medal in Karnataka State Olympic Games-2017, which was organised by Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports. A product of  Garden Tennis Club, he has represented the city in the 61st National Games Lawn Tennis Boys U-18 (Hyderabad) at Telangana. This is his third National career title.
