As a measure for free and fair conduct of Legislative Council Polls from Local authorities constituencies, the District Administration has set up 24×7 Excise Control Rooms  for receiving complaints or information about Electoral  malpractices. Accordingly, the members of the public can call these Control Rooms or the Deputy Commissioner of Excise in case they come across illegal liquor manufacturing, stocking, transportation, distribution of liquor and such other acts in respect of Liquor.

The members of the public can call Ph: 0821-2541863 or 2524060 in case they come across any illegal activities concerning manufacturing or sale of liquor. Identity of the complainant or informant will not be disclosed, according to a press release.
