Mysore/Mysuru: The Excise Department has taken measures to curb storage, transportation and sale of illicit liquor in the district.
In a press release, the Deputy Commissioner of Excise said that despite lockdown and semi-lockdown in force in several States, the illicit liquor tragedy in a Uttar Pradesh village, which claimed the lives of at least 11 people, has forced the Department to take more stricter measures to check illicit liquor trade.
