Exclusive Traffic Police account opened on facebook

Mysuru: In a bid to create awareness on traffic rules and to receive complaints from the public pertaining to traffic issues, an exclusive ‘Mysuru City Traffic Police,’ account has been opened on facebook.

Information pertaining to special and unique traffic awareness programmes would be updated and the public can provide information about traffic issues through this facebook account.

Earlier, a facebook account in the name ‘Mysore City Police’ was opened in 2011 to update the public on people-friendly programmes by the Police and also to receive complaints and suggestions from the public.

Now, the Traffic Police division has opened an exclusive facebook account for traffic related issues. City Police Commissioner K.T. Balakrishna has asked the public to make use of the facebook account by the Traffic Police, according to a press release from the Public Relations Officer (PRO),                        City Police Commissioner’s Office, Mysuru.
