Expelled from Congress for anti-party activities

Mysuru: As per instructions from the KPCC, the Mysuru City Congress has expelled the following members from Primary membership of the party for six years for carrying out anti-party activities ahead of the MCC polls: Former Deputy Mayor B. Siddaraju, DCC Vice-President Shantaveerendra Swamy and R. Devaraj of Metagalli.

The Party has also expelled the following rebel candidates with immediate effect for contesting the MCC polls against the party’s official nominees in the MCC polls: Sitting Corporator Purushottam, who is contesting from Ward 38, Nominated Corporator Dinesh Kumar who is contesting from Ward 58, sitting Corporator Sunil Kumar who is contesting from Ward 51, City and District Congress General Secretary K.V. Sridhar who is contesting from Ward 3, Indira who is contesting from Ward 28 and Akbar, former Minorities wing office-bearer, who is contesting from Ward 32.
