Mysuru: A three-day exhibition of charcoal line sketches drawn by Artist and National Award winner Dr. Lakshman Prasad was held at the premises of Raviverma Art Institute in Chamarajapuram here recently. 

The expo along with a workshop on painting was organised by the Institute and Department of Kannada and Culture.

About 60 students participated in the workshop. The exhibits numbering over 30 focused mainly on women and nature referring to harassment of women. 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Lakshman Prasad contended that the drawings though in Black and White give vivid social messages to touch the hearts of people.

Senior artist S.M. Jambukeshwar inaugurated the expo. Artist H.S. Shivakumar was the chief guest. Institute Principal Shivakumar Kesaramadu was present.
