Exposed electric wires posing danger at Tilak Nagar

October 17, 2019

The dangling electric wires used to switch on the street lights are exposed and without insulation is posing danger to the public near Idgah Maidan (old Shalimar Theatre) in Tilak Nagar. One of SOM readers, who has sent the photo, says that the non-insulated electric wire is dangling very low and is posing danger to hundreds of children, who go to the nearby schools as they may get electrocuted when they accidentally touch the wire. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the wire replaced and also move the wire to a height which could not be reached by the children.
