Extend Hebbal Lake entry timing for morning walkers

December 1, 2022

Sir,

I had been an avid walker at the Hebbal Lake in the mornings. I have to say that compared to all the other Lakes in Mysuru, this place feels the safest to walk in with the presence of security guards and also well-maintained pathways.

Due to some unavoidable circumstances, I am unable to go for walk early in the morning these days. Unfortunately, the place shuts down by 9 am.

Even if the authorities concerned increase the timings by half-an-hour and close the entry by 9.30 am, it would benefit people like me.

Many women in similar situations can finish up our daily chores and find time a bit later on for our walks. I feel 9 am is a little too soon to shut the gates.

It is just a suggestion and I, and maybe others like me would be very joyful indeed to get an extra 30 minutes so we can manage the time efficiently.
