Sir,
Of late we find that the street-lights are switched off at 6 am from a central point which is a good thing and need of the hour.
But now being winter season, sunrise is very late. So the morning joggers and walkers find it extremely difficult not to speak of the vast majority of the domestic help as it is dark at 6 am.
Will the authorities please see to it that the streetlights are switched off when there is sufficient daylight in the morning because now people are almost groping in the dark.
The streetlight timings may be extended (both morning and evening) during winter season and revert to fixed timings later.
