Externment of rowdy-sheeters: Deputy Comr. to announce decision on Mar.30

Mysuru:  In a bid to maintain law and order situation for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls, the Police have recommended externment of few rowdy-sheeters from the district.

The Police have recommended a total of 25 rowdy-sheeters including 15 from city for externment to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abhiram G. Sankar, who is also the District Magistrate. The Police have recommended that these rowdy-sheeters be externed till the election gets over.

In this background, the Police produced the rowdy-sheeters before the DC and gave reports pertaining to criminal cases against them and their background. The DC, who heard the arguments at his Court, will announce the decision pertaining to the externment on Mar.30.
