Eye and health camp held for children with special needs

March 11, 2024

Mysore/Mysuru: India Vision Care Eye Clinic, in collaboration with ClearMedi Multispeciality Hospital and Sahara School for Children with Special Needs in Mysuru, run by Minhaj Interfaith and Welfare Foundation India, had organised a free health camp for children recently.

The camp provided eye screening, health check-ups assessing blood pressure and sugar levels and ECGs.

A total of 77 children underwent comprehensive eye tests, ensuring early detection and care for ocular health while 55 participants received health check-ups for both blood pressure and sugar levels, addressing broader well-being concerns.

This collaborative initiative not only emphasised preventive healthcare but also demonstrated a commitment to the holistic well-being of the community, particularly focusing on those with special needs.
