November 24, 2025

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Canara Bank’s 120th Founder’s Day, an eye screening camp was organised in association with the Canara Bank Officers’ Association and the Mysore Race Club Charitable Trust at the Canara Bank Regional Office in Nazarbad recently.

A total of 43 officers underwent screening and 15 officers pledged to donate their eyes through Lions MRC Eye Retrieval Centre.

Expressing her gratitude to the Mysore Race Club Charitable Trust for taking this meaningful initiative, Divisional Manager of Mysore Region Roopashree emphasised that regular eye screening is essential for bank staff, as their work requires clear reading of letters and documents.

She appreciated the support extended by the Mysore Race Club Eye Hospital in making the camp successful. Secretary of the MRC Charitable Trust M. Rahul Dev, Canara Bank Nazarbad Branch Senior Manager Chethan and others were present.
