February 8, 2021

Mysore/Mysuru: Following a fake Twitter account of the titular head of the erstwhile Mysore royal family Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar being created to tweet in favour of the farmers’ protest, Yaduveer has lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime Police against the same.

Speaking to presspersons after inaugurating the Tuber Mela in city on Saturday, Yaduveer said that the fake Twitter account in his name was created two years ago and added that he has lodged a complaint with Cyber Crime Police. The Police should investigate and as of now the fake account has been deleted, he added.

To a question on his stand to the ongoing farmers’ protest, Yaduveer said that it was not the right time to speak about it. However, he called upon people to support India’s unity and expressed hope for an early solution to the issue.
