Farmer dies of snake bite

Mysuru:  A 45-year-old farmer, who was admitted to a private hospital in city after a venomous snake bit him, died at the hospital yesterday after failing to respond to the treatment.

The deceased farmer is Siddesh (45), a resident of Kalasiddanahundi in the taluk.

Siddesh was working in his field when a snake bit him on Sept.29, following which his family members had admitted him to a private hospital, where he breathed his last.

A case has been registered at Mysuru South Rural Police Station in this regard.
