Farmer killed in bike collision

Mysore/Mysuru: A farmer was killed when two bikes collided head-on near Kaniyanahundi village in H.D. Kote taluk last afternoon.

The deceased farmer is Rudregowda (45), son of Eeregowda of Kaniyanahundi. Rudregowda was proceeding on his bike from his farm land towards his house and when he took a turn, another bike which came on Bogadi Main Road, rammed into the bike Rudregowda was riding, resulting in him suffering serious injuries. 

Though the public rushed him to a nearby private hospital, the doctors, who examined him at the hospital declared him, brought dead.

Deceased Rudregowda leaves behind his wife and two sons.

H.D. Kote Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar, registered a case and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary in city, where post-mortem was conducted and the body was handed over to the family members.
