Farmers to take out ‘Delhi  Chalo’ rally on Feb.23

Mysuru:  Seeking all farm loans waiver and implementation of Dr. M.S. Swaminathan Report on farm prices, farmers will take out a Delhi Chalo rally on Feb. 23.

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Karnataka State Sugarcane Growers Association President Kurubur  Shantakumar said that thousands of farmers will take part in the Feb. 23 Delhi Chalo rally.

Speaking further, he said that more than 70 farmer organisations from across the Country will converge at Delhi and will demand for resolving farmer    issues.

He further said that farmers will also stage dharnas at all the taluk and District head-        quarters on Feb. 23 by blocking   highways.
