Farmers to be feted tomorrow

As part of Farmers’ Day marking the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister late Chaudhary Charan Singh, the city’s National Human Rights and Right to Information Service Committee, in association with Bharatiya Kurshika Samaja, will be felicitating progressive farmers from Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts at a programme to take place at Rotary Hall on JLB Road in city at 4.30 pm tomorrow (Dec.23). University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar will inaugurate the programme. Veteran writer Dr. C.P. Krishna Kumar (CPK) will release a book titled ‘Mamadapura Chutukugalu’, while Astrologer Mugur Madhu Diksthith will release a diary on the occasion.
