FDP on ‘Advancements in Manufacturing’

Mysuru: The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, is organising a two-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Advancements in Manufacturing’ on   July 22 and 23. 

This programme is organised under the aegis of Cluster Centre Approach, Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) and Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT).

Dr. N. Balashanmugam, Joint Director, Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI), will be the chief guest at the inaugural function on July 22 at Mechanical Dept. Seminar Hall.

Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda, Principal, VVCE, will preside. VVCE-CIT TLC Coordinator Dr. P.K. Umesha, Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, will be the guest of honour. Dr. G.V. Naveen Prakash, HoD of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. V. Manikandan, Project Coordinator, CIT-TLC, programme coordinators, faculty members and participants will be present on the occasion. The programme coordinators are Prof. Naveen Ankegowda and Prof. B.S. Nithyananda, Assistant Professors in the Department.  

Dr. N Balashanmugam,  K. Ankit, Scientist-C, J. Pradyumna, Scientist-B, Sunil Magadum, Scientist-C, A.R. Vinod, Scientist-C, from CMTI and Dr. K.R. Prakash, Professor, The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, will be the resource persons for the FDP.
