Mysore/Mysuru: Karnataka Rajya Hindulida Vargagala Jagruta Vedike will felicitate MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah at a programme to be held at Vijnana Bhavan in Manasagangothri campus at 5 pm tomorrow (Mar.26).

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Vedike President K.S. Shivaram said that ‘Sama Sadviveka,’ a book on activist Prof. K.S. Bhagawan will also be released on the occasion.

Stating that former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will release the book following which Dr. D. Thimmaiah will be honoured, Shivaram said that writer Prof. C. Naganna will speak about the book.

He further said that Additional Director of Backward Classes Welfare Department at Bengaluru, M. Ramaiah will be conferred ‘Bhagyavidhata Sri Siddharamaiah’ State award and added that writer Mahesh Sosale’s work ‘Kannada Naadalli Bahutvada  Dhaaregalu’ will also be released on the occasion.
