Fetching cake for his friend’s birthday was his last bike ride

Mysuru: He had been to a shop to fetch a cake to celebrate his close friend’s birthday, but fate willed otherwise. 28-year-old Harshakumar Singh who had married just four months ago lost his life in an accident near K.R. Hospital in city.

Harshakumar Singh was a resident of Sharadadevinagar in city and  on Sunday, Nov. 25, he had taken his bike out to get a cake for his friend’s birthday. He wanted to celebrate his close friend’s birthday in a grand way and had ordered the cake at a bakery.

On that day, Harshakumar was proceeding near the K.R. Hospital Junction when a stray dog came in front of his bike and in the process of avoiding running over the dog, he lost control over his bike and fell on the road. He sustained serious injuries on his head and was admitted to a hospital where he breathed his last this morning.

Devaraja Police have registered a case. Family sources said that Harshakumar had got married jjust fourmonths ago.
