Bengaluru: Narayanamma (80), mother of Kannada film actor Duniya Vijay, passed away at her residence yesterday following brief illness. 

Narayanamma had fallen sick last month and arrangements for her treatment were made at Vijay’s house. She had reportedly suffered brain stroke.

She wanted to watch Duniya Vijay’s directorial debut film Salaga but her wish remained unfulfilled, Vijay said.
