Financial assistance for film and television artistes

The Department of Information and Public Relations has invited applications from film and television artistes to provide financial assistance of Rs. 3,000 through the Seva Sindhu portal. The State Government earlier had announced a special relief package for film and television artistes distressed by the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Information and Public Relations Department Commissioner Dr. P.S. Harsha stated that Rs. 6.60 crore has been reserved for this special relief package, which would provide financial assistance to 22,000 registered employees of film and television industry.

The relief money will be directly transferred to their bank accounts. Application forms can be downloaded from the Seva Sindhu portal www.sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in till July 9.
