Fireworks Display at Mysuru Palace tomorrow

Mysuru: As the Government has announced three-day State mourning following the demise of Pejawar Seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji on Sunday, the fireworks display at the Palace premises, which was scheduled to be held today (Dec.31) at 12 midnight to welcome the New Year, has been postponed to Jan.1. 

The fireworks will now be displayed from 9 pm to 9.30 pm on tomorrow. Prior to that, Police Band will perform from 6 pm to 7 pm which will be followed by ‘Srinivasa Nritya Vaibhava’ by Sunitha Chandrakumar’s Sri Raghuleela Sangeetha Mandira from 7 pm to 9 pm.

On Jan.2 from 7 pm to 9 pm, a musical evening programme titled ‘Harsha Dhwani’ will be presented by Sreeharsha of SaReGaMaPa fame and teams from SaReGaMaPa and Kannada Kogile reality shows.

No illumination today

Today, there will be no Palace illumination but Palace is open to public from 10 am to 5.30 pm. Also, flower show will be on from 10 am to 8.30 pm.
