Acclaimed writer Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa to inaugurate; Senior scholar Dr. K. Anantharamu to chair meet

Mysore/Mysuru: The  two-day first State-level Literary Meet of Sanketi Community writers will take place at Nacharamma Bhavan, Second Main Road, Jayanagar in city on Dec. 23 and 24.

Senior scholar of Mysuru Dr. K. Anantharamu will chair the meet, which is held under the aegis of Vishwa Sanketi Bharati Trust, Mathur, in association with Kaushika Sanketi Sangha, Mysuru, Bettadapura Sanketi Sangha, Mysuru, Sanketi Sangama Patrike, Hosahalli and Astika Vivardhini Sanketi Sangha, Lingadahalli.

The registration for the meet will begin at 11 am on Dec.23, followed by a procession from the Public Park on Jayanagar 2nd Main road at 2.25 pm. Meet Chairman Dr. Anantharamu will be brought in a Sarot to venue.

Acclaimed writer and Saraswathi Samman awardee Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa will inaugurate the meet at 3 pm.  Vidushi Dr. R.N. Srilatha will render the invocation. Samskruti Subramanya will welcome the gathering. M.B. Bhanuprakash, President of the Vishwa Sanketi Bharati Trust, Mathur, will deliver keynote address. MLA T.S. Srivatsa is the Hon. President of the Steering Committee.

The two-day meet will feature sessions, Kavi Goshti, release of books and felicitation to senior achievers.
